Friends of Football,

Plenty of proper football on tap this weekend at the Bulldog both Saturday and Sunday.  We start Saturday morning at 8am (we will not be open early for Stoke v Sunderland) as Arsenal travel to Newcastle, and Man City play host to West Brom.  Both Newcastle and West Brom are desperate for points, while their opponents cant afford a slip up if they want to stay within striking distance of Man. United.  The late morning match sees undefeated Man United take on a Wolves side that is in the thick of the relagation battle.  Those of you that support Barcelona will see them kick off at 2pm against Atletico Madrid to round out the afternoon.

Anyone that follows the English Premier League has no doubt heard of the massive deadline day transfers of Fernando Torres to Chelsea, and Liverpools swipe for World Cup hero Luis Saurez.  Well it couldnt have been scripted better, as Chelsea play host to Liverpool in the 9am slot Sunday morning for our match of the week.  Our local supporters groups the Rocky Mountain Blues (Chelsea), and the Colorado Reds (Liverpool), will be in full voice at the Bulldog adding to the atmosphere.  We will be open early on Sunday morning for the West Ham v Birmingham fixture (6:30am kickoff), so dont be afraid to drop in early to find yourself a good spot to watch the match.

Finally I would like to thank those of you that reached out to me during my recent foray to Great Britain.  The football matches we attended were brilliant, the pubs were fantastic, but most of all the kind folks that we linked up with really made our trip something special.   Many thanks to Rob of Acton Town (Arsenal Supporter), and his mates Christian and Shaun.  Also a shout to longtime Fulham supporter Jim.  Cheers mates, hope to see you all again soon!
