Football Fans,

Our hometown Lads, the Colorado Rapids, have a difficult road test against Philadelphia this afternoon.  The Bulldog will be hosting an away game viewing party with the match conveniently scheduled for a 5:30pm Happy Hour kick off.  Wear your colors, and join us in support of our team as they battle for an important three points away.  In addition the bulldog will be featuring the U-20 World Cup throughout the evening, with both Brazil and Argentina in action.

Saturday sees some of our familiar European sides in action during the day and early afternoon, with our highlight match of the day falling at 5pm.  Barcelona and Man. United rematch on American soil in front of nearly 80,000 fans of the game, at Fed Ex Field in Washington D.C.  A handful of friends from our local soccer community have made the trek to see this match live, and Im sure they wont be disappointed!  Saturday evening rounds out with a full compliment of MLS fixtures starting at 5:30pm.

Sunday morning we have a couple nice matches to start the day.  Arsenal take on the New York Red Bulls, and Inter Milan face Man City both in Cup competitions.  Later in the day the U-20 World Cup takes center stage with Costa Rica facing Spain, and the following evening England face Argentina in the U-20 Cup.

Next week the Bulldog will be closing its doors for renovations at 12:00am on Wednesday night.  They will reopen with a brand new set up for the first day of EPL fixtures on August 13th at 7:00am.  The Bulldogs sister Pub, the Three Lions, will be opening its doors for the first time late next week.  Three Lions is located on the corner of Colfax and York, and like the Bulldog, it will honor the game we all love.  The first major events to be shown at Three Lions will be the kick off of the Championship season, the Rapids home fixture v Columbus (Bus Trip), and the Community Shield match between Man City and Man United.   It is an exciting time for football fans in Denver, as we have a new space to continue the growth of the football culture that has been nurtured by the Bulldog over the years.  Cheers all, enjoy the weekend!
