Feature Matches
The first week of April holds some real gems in store for us, with football featuring every day of the week.  Tonight we have the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying Final kicking off at 6pm, asMexico face Honduras to decide the top seed from our region.  This match kicks off an hour before the NCAA Basketball Final for a great sports night at the Pub.  Fish & Chips and Fullers Ales are on special the entire evening to compliment the great sports.
Tuesday brings us the 2nd leg of the Champions League Quarterfinals.  Barcelona, who were held scoreless in Italy last week, hostAC Milan for our feature match of the day.  Our other lunchtime feature pits Bayern Munich against Marseille.  Bayern holds a comfortable advantage on aggregate, and they are at home.  We will also be showing a replay of the USWNT v Brazil at 11am as a precursor to the Champions League action.
Wednesday lunchtime we have Chelsea hosting Benfica, and Real Madrid hosting APOEL in our other two Champions League Quarterfinals.  Chelsea holds a 1-0 aggregate advantage, and they have not been beaten at home during this years Champions League campaign.  Real Madrid look sure to advance after scoring three on their trip to Cyprus last week.  Later in the evening the last MLS side in CONCACAF Champions League, Toronto FC, face a very tough test against Santos Laguna.  American National Team forward Hercules Gomez plys his trade for Santos, and hes having another banner season.  To finish the night we have a midweek MLS clash withSalt Lake taking on MLS newcomers Montreal.
Friday morning the Pub will be open early to feature two Championship matches, and one EPL fixture. Reading take on Leeds to start the day (7am), followed bySwansea v Newcastle, and finishing with Barnsley v West Ham.
There are two matches that really stand out on the weekend as must sees.  Saturday night ourColorado Rapids travel to Salt Lake to take on their arch rivals.  Both sides are top of the table in the Western Conference with 3-1-0 records.  The Lions will be hosting an away game viewing party for this epic clash, and we are asking all fans to wear their colors and scarves in support of our Burgundy Boys.  Sunday morning Arsenal hostManchester City at the Emirates in a match that is of huge importance to both sides.  City are trying to stay on pace with United, while Arsenal is in a dogfight with Spurs for third in the League.  The game kicks off at 9am, and there is a nice warm up fixture, with Man. United facing Queens Park Rangers at 6:30am.
We finish the gameweek with a Monday lunchtime clash between Fulham andChelsea.  This is a West London Derby, with both teams grounds within walking distance of each other.  Hope everyone has a great week, and lets go Rapids!
