Feature Matches
Copa Del Rey Quarterfinal action kicks off our week Tuesday afternoon, with Real Madrid hosting Valencia. This is a first leg fixture, and Madrid will need to take advantage of the home crowd to get off on the right foot against Valencia Wednesday will be a big football day at the Pub, with action from the EPL, Copa Del Rey, and FA Cup 3rd Round Replays on tap. Our feature match of the day (played in the main bar area with volume) has Manchester United taking on West Ham in an FA Cup replay. Manchester has been dominant so far this season, but the FA Cup is about upsets, and the Irons will certainly be up for this fixture. In addition we have Chelsea facing Southampton in an EPL replay, which will be featured on the balcony of the Pub. A bit later Barcelona kick off, as they continue their campaign to defend the Copa Del Rey title. We finish the afternoon with Arsenal v Swansea in another FA Cup 3rd round replay. Will Michu and the Swans hand the Gunners more disappointment, or can Wenger's side rebound from their loss to Man city by advancing in the FA Cup?
Our weekend kicks off at 8am Saturday morning with three EPL fixtures. Liverpool face Norwich at home, hoping to rebound from their encounter with Man U. last weekend. Manchester City are still very much in the fight for the top of the table, and will look to grab another three points against Fulham at home. Newcastle v Reading is our other early fixture, and has serious relegation zone connotations. Barcelona have an early (10am) kick off against Real Sociedad, followed closely by another EPL fixture between West Brom and Aston Villa. In addition to all the great football action from around the World, we will have full coverage of the NHL season (we have the NHL package) starting Saturday afternoon. Ice cold Labatts Blue is available in bottle, and ask your bartender for our "Rubbish Plate" special if you are in for NHL.
Sunday morning we have two huge EPL fixtures, starting with Arsenal away at Chelsea (6:30am), followed by 4th place Tottenham hosting 1st place Manchester United (9am). Both games should be cracking, and fall into our morning Football Happy Hour. Our other feature match for Sunday kicks off at 1pm with Real Madrid facing Valencia for the second time in a week, this time in League play. We finish the afternoon with American Pointy Ended Football, as both of the Conference Championship Games will be featured.
On the Horizon
Mid week we have the 2nd Leg of the League Cup Semifinals, the Copa Del Rey Quarterfinals, and an EPL make up game between Arsenal & West Ham to look forward to. On the weekend the FA Cup 4th Round will feature, as well as La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1.
