Feature Matches

Everything the Colorado Rapids have worked so hard for in 2013 comes to a head on Wednesday night.  In a single game do or die match, the Rapids take on Western Conference rival Seattle Sounders.  Coach Pareja took a gamble resting a handful of key players last Sunday, where a win would have seen his team avoiding this play in match.  This speaks volumes about the belief he has in his side to get the job done in what may be the toughest venue in MLS.  The Sounders enjoy the largest home crowds in the League, and also have the advantage of being used to playing on a turf field.  This is the playoffs though, and excuses are worthless at the end of the day, so expect the Rapids to leave everything they have on the pitch in Seattle!  A win, and we face Portland on Saturday night at home.  A loss, and we'll go home proud, after a strong season that leaves a lot of positives to look forward to.  The Pub will be hosting an away game viewing party, with pregame at 8pm, and the match kicking off at 8:30pm!  Carlsberg and Great Divide Draughts will be on special ($5 20oz Pints).  Wear your colors, and get out in support of your hometown team, as they fight to stay alive in the Playoffs!

On the weekend we have a big Saturday morning, with Arsenal facing Liverpool in the feature match (11:30am).  This is a battle for the top of the table, and will surely be entertaining!  All of the MLS Playoff action will be covered throughout the weekend, with the hopes that we are at home against Portland on Saturday night.  C'mon you Rapids, lets get the job done in Seattle!!!!
