World Football Update
Feature Matches

The FIFA Club World Cup is taking place in Morocco, with the Semifinals and Final falling this week.  The tournament consists of the Champions league winners from the six different FIFA Confederations, and the top club of the host nation.  Bayern Munich (UEFA) face Guangzou (AFC) in Tuesday's Semi, and Atletico Miniero (South America) take on Morocco's own Raja Casablanca on Wednesday.  The Third place match and Final are set for Saturday morning.

In other mid week action we have the Copa Del Rey (Kings Cup) from Spain, with matches Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  In England, the League Cup (Cap One Cup) Quarterfinals are taking place.  Sunderland, who are at the bottom of the Prem, have a difficult test against Chelsea this afternoon.  In the Tuesday's other Quarterfinal Leicester City battle Manchester City, unfortunately there is no coverage for this match.  Wednesday afternoon Stoke host Manchester United, followed by Tottenham taking on West Ham in a London Derby.  There are still plenty of big name Clubs in the competition, but these tournaments are made for upsets.  Expect to see the bigger Clubs give their younger stars, and reserves, a chance here.  In addition to all the other midweek action, we have two second round replays from footballs oldest competition, the FA Cup.  These are the last couple matches before the field is set for Round Three, where the Premiership Clubs enter the field.

We have a full weekend of football on tap, including a big Sunday with EPL, La Liga, and Serie A.  The Spurs face their first test without AVB at the helm to start the day.  Barca and Real both play away in La Liga, and AC Milan and Inter Milan clash in the Milan Derby.  We finish our football week with a massive London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea.  The Gunners hold a slim two point advantage over the Blues going into this one, with both sides knowing this could be a pivotal point in the season!
