Feature Matches

A few weeks ago Barcelona triumphed over Real Madrid in a thrilling Clasico league match, that ended 4-3.  Leo Messi bagged a hat trick to lead the Blaugrana to victory away at Santiago Bernabeau stadium.  Today Real Madrid want revenge in the next edition of the famed Clasico, and this time it's for Silverware.  The two rivals meet in the Copa Del Rey Final, with kickoff set for 1:30pm this afternoon!  Barcelona are reeling after suffering defeat in their last two matches, including an exit from the Champions League at the hands of Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid.  Real are set to pounce, except for one thing, Christiano Ronaldo is out due to injury.  Madrid are keen to rest him for the upcoming Champions League semifinal battle with Bayern.  The Copa Final is to be played on neutral ground, in Valencia, and is sure to be an epic clash to raise the King's Cup!

In the English Premier League the fight is on, with battles raging for the League title, positions in the top four, and of course one of the greatest relegation battles in years!  Mid week we have a handful of clubs making up games in hand.  Everton will try to leap back into fourth, as in form Crystal Palace pay them a visit.  Manchester City take on Sunderland, one side clamoring to get back to the top, and the other struggling to get off the bottom of the table.  On the weekend EPL starts early Saturday with Tottenham taking on Fulham, followed by a full day of football from England.  Sunday morning both Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, and Arsenal are in action!

In MLS we have a home match to look forward to for the Colorado Rapids, as San Jose pays a visit to the Mile High City this Saturday.  The Earthquakes are struggling, and still looking for their first win.  Colorado on the other hand has 10pts from five matches, and things are just starting to gel for them.  The Rapids are 3pts out of first in the West, with a game in hand on the Western Conference Leaders.  Don't miss the opportunity to get out in support of your hometown Club, as they battle a Conference rival.  The match kicks off at 4pm, and we will have shuttle service from the Pub to DSG Park!

On the Horizon

Next week we feature the first leg of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League Semifinals.  The Colorado Rapids head west to battle the Seattle Sounders, with a 2pm Saturday kick off!  Sunday morning a match that could decide everything in the EPL takes place, as Liverpool battle Chelsea at Anfield.
