Feature Matches

We have a tremendous week of sport to look forward to in this third week of September!  Tuesday and Wednesday the 2014/15 Champions League Group Stages kick off, with Borussia Dortmund v Arsenal and Bayern Munchen v Manchester City featuring!  In addition to these two great matches, all of Europe's best will be in action during lunch hour!

On the domestic front in the mid week, we have the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final featuring Tuesday evening.  The match pits the Philadelphia Union, and former Colorado Rapids star Conor Casey, against the Seattle Sounders.  The Sounders have been the dominant side in U.S. Open Cup in recent years, but they will not enjoy home field advantage this year against Philly.

The weekend kicks off with the Colorado Rapids battling Rocky Mountain rivals Salt Lake, in a primetime Friday night slot!  The Rapids put an end to their skid, managing to grab a point at home this past Saturday.  Now they will face one of their toughest tests all year, against much loathed Real!

Saturday QPR v Stoke starts our day early, then at 8am we will feature Aston Villa v Arsenal, followed by WestHam v Liverpool.  Both matches should be quite entertaining, as the two big Clubs find themselves away from home, against some very difficult opponents.  Villa is off to a smashing start to their campaign, and will look to notch another upset against the Gunners.

Sunday we have quite a day on the books,  Manchester United and Tottenham are both in action at 6:30am, before our EPL Match of the week.  Manchester City play host to Chelsea in a true clash of Titans, with a 9am kick off!  There will be over a billion dollars worth of talent on the pitch when this one kicks off, and City is one of the few Clubs that look as if they can compete with the Blues.  City is notoriously tough at home, and this one should make for a very entertaining match!

We finish the weekend with our eyes on American Football, as the Denver Broncos try to exact revenge on the Seattle Seahawks.  The game kicks off at 2:25pm, and should be a great one!

On the Horizon

Next week it's League Cup action from England in the mid week.  Saturday morning two massive EPL Derby's feature, with Liverpool battling Everton, and Arsenal taking on Tottenham.  The Colorado Rapids are at home Saturday night against San Jose!
