World Football Update
Feature Matches

We have a lot to look forward to this week, both domestically and abroad!  Champions League football kicks things off this week, with Roma v Bayern Munchen featuring Tuesday and Liverpool Real Madrid highlighting the Wednesday schedule!

The USWNT are through to the Semifinal round of the CONCACAF Women'
s Championship, and are awaiting their opponent for Friday afternoons match.  This tournament decides who will qualify to represent our region in Canada next year at the Women's World Cup, so there is much to play for here.  The Final kicks off at 4pm Sunday afternoon, and with any luck we'll be cheering the USWNT on to victory!

There are two huge clashes of note this weekend.  First up, the Clasico, pitting Barcelona against Real Madrid in a battle of Spanish titans!  This will be the first shot across the bow in terms of who will rule La Liga in 2014/15.  Luis Saurez is bound to be hungry (pun intended), as he returns from his ban for the infamous World Cup bite he delivered nearly four months ago.  Gareth Bale looks to be questionable for Madrid, after picking up a knock on International duty last week.  The Barca-Real-Messi-Ronaldo saga continues 10am this Saturday morning!  Sunday at 10am Manchester United and Chelsea have a date in the EPL.  No one has been able to bring down Mourinho's heavily fortified Chelsea yet this season.  Manchester United are looking for the result that will boost their side back to former glory.  This will be an epic EPL battle that is part of a terrific weekend of World Football!

On the Horizon

The MLS Playoffs kick off mid week, and continue in to the weekend.  Bayern Munchen battle Borussia Dortmund Saturday morning, and we feature the Manchester Derby Sunday morning!
