Feature Matches
While other European Leagues take a break over the Holidays, the English Premier League steams full speed ahead in to it's third full game week in less than seven days!  The EPL will ring in the New Year with ten live matches on Thursday morning.  ManchesterUnited kick off in the early match (5:45am), with a stiff away test at Stoke.  At 8am Southampton Arsenal will feature in the main bar.  The Saints have been on a terrific run through the Holidays, battering Everton, and drawing with league leaders Chelsea.  They'll be keen to stay ahead of the Gunners in the table, as the only thing that seperates them right now is goal differential.  Seven other matches kick off at 8am, before Tottenham host cross town rivals, and league leaders, Chelsea at 10:30am!  This should be another great clash, and a fitting way to wrap up the first game day of 2015!

On the weekend we switch gears a bit, as we focus on FA Cup Third Round and La Liga action.  Two EPL sides, West Brom and Swansea, find themselves facing lower league competition early Saturday morning.  The rest of the day will be dedicated to Spanish football, as La Liga comes off the Holiday break.  Sunday morning Crystal PalaceManchester City, and Manchester United kick the day off facing the likes of DoverSheffield United, and Yeovil Town.  At 10:30am Arsenal host Hull City in a rematch of last years FA Cup Final!  In La Liga, both Real Madrid (9am) and Barcelona (1pm) are in action.

The January transfer window opens Thursday, with teams vying to shore up their squads.  This is the only chance for teams to strengthen their side before seasons end, be it to stave off relegation or make a run for the title.  Regardless it always makes for an interesting time of year in Football!

On the Horizon

Next week it's FA Cup and Copa del Rey action mid week, and EPLLa Liga, and Serie A featuring on the weekend!
