Everton managed a last minute equalizer against West Ham in last week's third round FA Cup fixture.  These two sides meet again this afternoon, and this match will have a winner (extra time and penalties if things are level after 90).  FA Cup third round replays continue Wednesday, with Ipswich Town playing host to Premiership side Southampton.  Our highlight fixture for the mid week falls Thursday, with the second leg of a Copa Del Rey Madrid Derby kicking off at noon.  Real Madrid return home trying to battle back from a 2-0 deficit to their crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid. Christiano Ronaldo, recipient of the 2014 FIFA Balloon d' Or, will have to put in an epic performance.  The winner of this fixture will move on to face Barcelona in the next round, ensuring two of the tournaments favorites will fall before the Semifinals.

Weekend football kicks off at 8am Saturday morning, with six EPL fixtures on the books.  Liverpool, Manchester UnitedChelsea, and Tottenham are some of the bigger Clubs with an 8am start.  Newcastle face red hot Southampton at home, kicking off at 10:30am to wrap up the days EPL action.  Sunday morning West Ham battle Hull early, before our match of the weekend, Manchester CityArsenal (9am)!  City are very difficult at home, and they will be well motivated after a draw to Everton in their last match.  Arsenal have seen the return of a handful of key injured and suspended players, which should give them a boost.  This is a critical match for both Clubs, as the race for the title and Champions League football heats up in the EPL!

On the Horizon

Next week the Capital One Cup Semifinals fall mid week, with Liverpool facing Chelsea & Tottenham battling Sheffield United FA Cup fourth round starts Friday, and continues throughout the weekend.
