In a week that focuses on Cup matches, we start out with a bang, as Liverpool face Chelseathis afternoon!  The two sides meet in the first leg of the League Cup Semifinal, with a 12:45pm kick off live from Anfield.  Anytime two clubs of this caliber meet it cooks up something special for the fans, and this two game series should be no different.  Liverpool will be keen to take full advantage of this first leg, since they'll be on their home turf.  Wednesday the second League Cup Semi, between Tottenham and Sheffield United will be shown on tape delay at 8pm MST.

We switch gears to Copa Del Rey action on Wednesday, with Villareal v Getafe andBarcelona Atletico Madrid featuring in the Quarterfinals.  With Barca facing Atletico it means another major Spanish power will be eliminated from the competition in a weeks time.  This will be a mouth watering set of fixtures for any fan of Spanish football!

  Manchester United will be in action Friday afternoon to kick off the weekends FA Cup action.  The FA Cup Fourth Round continues Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with a myriad of great fixtures!

On the Horizon

Next week Chelsea host Liverpool in the second leg of the League Cup Semifinals, and Sheffield United host Spurs.  Barcelona meet Atletico Madrid again in leg two of their Copa clash.  On the weekend the EPL retuirns to action, in addition to La Liga and Serie A.
