Feature Matches

We have four Champions league knockout matches this week, and three of them are even on aggregate.  Real Madrid hold a 2-0 advantage over Schalke, and they will be playing in the comfortable confines of the Santiago Bernabeau stadium Tuesday evening.  In all likelihood the Spaniards will move on to the Quarterfinals, unless the Germans can manage an epic upset.  Porto and Basel clash in Tuesday's other fixture, with the score knotted at 1-1.  Chelsea face Paris St. Germain for a spot in the Quarters, with the Blues sitting on a valuable away goal. Bayern Munchen failed to score in the first leg against Shakhtar Donetsk, putting them in a slightly precarious position against their Eastern European competition.

The weekend brings us St. Pat's Saturday, and we kick things off early with two derbies!  Crystal Palace face Queens Park Rangers to start the day, before Arsenal host West Ham at the Emirates! We are featuring a number of other EPLLa Liga, and MLS matches throughout the day, so join us for football and beer as we celebrate all things green!

Sunday morning we have some terrific EPL fixtures to look forward to, starting with Chelsea Southampton.  The Saints have been a difficult opponent all season, and will be sure to test the Blues here.  Our feature match of the day pits Manchester United against the Tottenham Hotspur, as the two sides battle for a spot in the coveted top four.  Everton and Newcastle also feature at 10am, with both sides trying to climb out of the bottom half of the table.  The game week finishes with monday afternoon fixture between Swansea and Liverpool.
On the Horizon

Next week Champions League and Europa League return mid week, with the feature match falling Wednesday between Barcelona and Manchester City.  On the weekend we have the Colorado Rapids home opener against New York City FC Saturday afternoon,Liverpool v Manchester United Sunday morning, and El Clasico on Sunday afternoon!
