Feature Matches

The USWNT took care of business in the Round of 16, and now have a date with China in the Quarterfinals Friday night!  The Lady Yanks looked solid, but you get the sense they are not firing on all cylinders quite yet.  If the USA advance, they will face the winner of Friday's other match-up between Germany and France, and will have to be at the top of their game to return to the Final!  Saturday's Women's World Cup Quarterfinal matches pit Australia against Japan, and England against Canada, with the winners of these matches facing each other in the Semifinals.

The Copa America has moved in to the Quarterfinal stage as well,  Thursday's match has Bolivia battling Peru, and Friday Argentina face off with Colombia.  The fourth Quarterfinal is set for Saturday afternoon, and has Brazil taking on Paraguay!  Winners advance and losers go home from this point on!

The Colorado Rapids are in action Saturday night as they head off to battle Sporting K.C..  The first match up between the two sides was postponed due to weather, so hopefully this match kicks off without a hitch.  The Pub will be hosting an Away Game Viewing Party for this match, and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a W!

On the Horizon

Women's World Cup and Copa America Semifinals are set for the mid week, with the Finals slated for the weekend.  The Colorado Rapids have their huge Fourth of July extravaganza set for Saturday night, where they will face the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Western Conference clash.
