The United States Men's National Team kick off our game week, with a Monday night Gold Cup clash with Panama!  The USA are through as Group winners, but can eliminate Panama from the competition tonight!  Rapids forward Gabby Torres will be suited up for the Panamanians, and he'll be looking to keep his team alive in the competition.  The match kicks off at 7:30pm, and is preceded by Haiti v Honduras, with both sides still in the hunt for the Quarterfinals.  Tuesday and Wednesday we close out the Group Stages of the Gold Cup.  Mexico and Costa Rica are both off to a rough start in the competition, and will need a result in their final group matches.  Mexico face Trinidad & Tobago, who have managed two wins, for the top of the Group.  Costa Rica face a beleagured Canada side, bolstering their chances of getting out of the Group Stage.

The weekend kicks off Friday night, as Steven Gerrard makes his MLS debut for the Galaxy against rivals San Jose.  Club America also has a friendly against Manchester United in the ICC that falls Friday night.

Weekend highlights include the FIFA Beach World Cup Semi's and Final, the Gold Cup Quarterfinals both Saturday and Sunday (the USA will play Saturday), and plenty of action from MLS!

Our Colorado Rapids notched two wins in a row, and although they are not out of the cellar yet, there is hope!  This is the first time they have had back to back wins since June of 2014, and it was against decent competition.  This week they travel to Seattle to take on the Dempseyless Sounders!  We have never won in Seattle, but we may as well strike well the irons hot!  The Pub will be hosting an Away Game Viewing Party for the match, which will directly follow Saturday's two Gold Cup Quarterfinals!

On the Horizon

Gold Cup Semifinals fall Wednesday night, and the Final will be played next Sunday afternoon!  The Rapids take a break until after the MLS All Star Game, which is now only a couple weeks away!  The ICC competition starts to heat up, as plenty of European Clubs amp up ther preseason here in the States!
