World Football Update

Feature Matches

League Cup action from England, Bundesliga, and La Liga feature mid week, with a bit of the Rugby World Cup sprinkled in there for good measure! Highlights of the mid week football action include Bayern Munchen v Wolfsburg on Tuesday, and Tottenham v Arsenal on Wednesday afternoon. The Rugby World Cup offers up some great mid week fixtures, including Scotland v Japan & Australia v Fiji early Wednesday morning. The All Blacks second match of the tournament falls Thursday afternoon against Namibia, and Friday morning Argentina battle Georgia in a match that will likely decide second place in their group.

Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City in the early kick off Saturday morning, before a busy eight o' clock hour. Leicester City v Arsenal headlines a group of games that also includes Liverpool v Aston Villa, Manchester United v Sunderland, and Barcelona v Las Palmas. Chelsea v Newcastle feature at 10:30am, and then we turn our focus to the Rugby World Cup. The RWC will be on hold at the Lions Saturday morning due to the heavy football schedule, but will return at 1pm with a huge match between England and Wales! The Colorado Rapids are away to Houston with a 6:30pm kick off. Late Saturday night the Lions will be featuring the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Japan, live from the Suzuka circuit! F1 is the pinnacle of technology in motor racing, and also a great party for the fans. Feel free to join us whether you are a long time racing enthusiast, or are just curious about the sport.

Sunday morning will be mostly devoted to Rugby World Cup, starting very early with Australia v Uruguay (5am)! At 7:30am the USA, a heavy underdog in the tournament, face Scotland! Ireland and Romania wrap up the day's Rugby coverage with a 9:45am kickoff. In football we have one EPL fixture featuring at 9am, with Watford hosting Crystal Palace! Later in the day Sporting K.C. battle Seattle, and the L.A. Galaxy face Dallas, in two Western Conference MLS matches. Sunday evening we feature American Football, as the Denver Broncos travel to Michigan to battle Detroit! Every Sunday night we feature all our Fullers Ales at a Happy Hour price, and we serve our Bangers & Mash entree' for only $9! Cheers!
