Feature Matches

The first leg of the League Cup Semifinals fall Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Liverpool are away to Stoke City this afternoon, and Everton host Manchester City the following afternoon. With the fixture congestion over the Holidays it will be interesting to see how these teams manage these matches. Liverpool in particular have a tough turnaround with an FA Cup 3rd round fixture Friday afternoon, and then a date with Arsenal and Manchester United the following week.

It's the 3rd Round of the FA Cup this weekend, which means the top flight teams enter the competition. A draw will earn a replay, but if you lose you are eliminated from the competition. Who will be the giant killers this year? Friday afternoon we have Exeter City hosting Liverpool to kick things off. Saturday morning Arsenal battle Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers host Stoke City, and Manchester United face Sheffield United! Sunday morning, it's Chelsea facing Scunthorpe United before the highly anticipated FA Cup clash between Tottenham and Leicester City!

On the Horizon

We have plenty of EPL action to look forward to, with two gameweeks scheduled between Tuesday and Sunday! This includes Liverpool facing Arsenal and Manchester United, Everton taking on Manchester City and Chelsea, and Tottenham with their second big match against Leicester City in a weeks time!
